Sony Ericsson debuts G700 and G900

Sony Ericsson recently launched the G700 and G900 – both smartphones running on Symbian OS with UIQ.
The G700 is a candybar phone that sports a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus, image stabilizer and flash. It also has a fully interactive touchscreen that goes well with its notes function that allows users to scribble or draw and send it to their friends.
On the other hand, the G900 sports a 5 megapixel snapper that allows users to frame their shot and change the focus point of the camera just by touching the screen. In addition, the G900 also supports WiFi connectivity.
The phones have 2.4 inch touchscreen display with dedicated function keys for messaging, taking notes and key lock button. Both support HSDPA connectivity and 160MB built-in storage memory that can be expanded up to 4GB with M2 Memory Stick.
The G700 and G900 are retailing at RM1230 and RM1560 respectively.

2. The handset wobbles on hard even surfaces
3. There are a number of messaging downers
4. Camera has no auto focus, nor video recording… nor any settings at all (too bad... cannot record videos.. ahahaaa)
5. Safari browser doesn't support Flash and Java, doesn't have a download manager ( cant support Java's Games)
6. Bluetooth support limited to headset use only (no A2DP or file transfers)
7. No office document editor (cannot do offices thing loo)
8. No copy/paste functionality (all your works only can be stored at the Iphone)
9. You cannot sync Notes and TO-DOs (cannot do sync to laptop)
10. No memory card slot (but knowing Apple there will never be one) so that mean you all cannot add any extension memory, too bad...

Unsafe mobile chargers

As announced hundred thousands unsafe chargers for the mobile phones, game consolers and players can appear. The officials working with market standards and studying these mobile chargers came to the conclusion that they come from China (what a surprise). One can find phone charges like that in stores and during the Internet purchases. The tests show that while being used the devices will heat up or cause electric shock. The code of one of these devices is DE62347066, others do not have a code. These unsafe mobile chargers are called Killer Travel Charger. The cost is RM 5- 15. The controlled phone charges cost about RM 45.

Nokia N96 release date confirmed

The Nokia N95 was a powerhouse of movies, music, camera and phone features all lovingly fed into one greedy little box. Nokia knew that there's always room for improvement though, and have been mercilessly teasing us with the N96 for months now.
Today they've bumped their head and coughed up info on a proper UK release date: October 1st 2008 (which is this year).
The revamped behemoth still features its winning 5Meg camera, but the screen is upped to a sultry 2.7" QVGA number, there's built in GPS, and the memory has been doubled to 16 handy gigabytes.
It'll flood the streets on the above date courtesy of 3, Orange, T-Mobile and Vodafone, and will likely give the iPhone a real run for its 'do-everything' money.
